When it comes to Thanksgiving, I am usually so focused on the menu and food that the Thanksgiving table setting is the last thing on my mind.   I like the food to be the Thanksgiving centerpiece, but also want to set a nice table to celebrate the big day…but I always find myself scrambling at the last minute to pull it all together.  This year, I don’t have to worry about my Thanksgiving table, I have everything all set!  Using cotton napkins from Flowering Blues, I was able to create a gorgeous Gold & Silver Thanksgiving tablescape.

{I received linen samples from Flowering Blues but the opinions and photos are my own.}

Gold & Silver Thanksgiving Tablescape

Gold & silver are not just reserved for Christmas and New Years decor, they are perfect colors to create a sophisticated, yet understated Thanksgiving table.  When used along with a few pumpkins, autumn leaves, and accessories, gold and silver can give your table the sparkle it needs without taking the focus away from your Thanksgiving dinner.

I started with wicker chargers, then used a layer of gold charger, then cream dinnerware with a gold band along the edge.  My flatware was silver, as were the napkin rings; the wine glasses were gold tinted. Continuing the trend, I used various sizes and styles of glass, gold and silver candle holders scattered around the table, including a beautiful flameless birch candle.

A clear flower vase with silver band along the edge held cream, gold, and dark purple wildflowers.  I decorated the Gold & Silver Thanksgiving tablescape with white pumpkins,  paper autumn leaves, and accented with my cream and brown turkey salt and pepper shakers.  The showpiece of the entire table?  My new beige, black, and gold napkins from Flowering Blues.
